Ovation Arts presents Godspell

For Immediate Release

Ovation Arts is pleased to present the Stephen Schwartz musical, Godspell, the last two weekends of June. This musical incorporates lively music and dance into the retelling of many parts of the Gospels, mostly from the book of Matthew.  The music spans many styles, and the cast will be accompanied by a rock band with horns. This production is ideal for audiences of any age.

Performances are at Ovation Performing Arts Center, 8006 Madison Pike, Suite 11-B in Madison.  The cast includes Sam Neely as Jesus, Josh Phillips as John the Baptist/Judas, Christina Crowe, Elizabeth Gillespie, Clint Johnson, Julie Jordan, Kayla Ketron, Seth Limbaugh, Erin McDaniels, Nathan Merritt, Lawlous Parker, Chandra Salisbury, Carrie Sumner, Chelsea Vance, Andrew Velez, and Andy Woloszyn.  Adam Gimenez will direct, and Thomas Ardrey is the Music Director.

Tickets are reserved, and may be purchased by calling 468-1632 or 468-1633.  Tickets for students and seniors are $18, and adult tickets are $20.  Ovation Arts accepts Visa and MasterCard, or you may mail a check and they will send you your tickets.  Tickets are also available at the Ovation Arts Center, 8006 Madison Pike, Suite #11B in Madison.  Seating is limited, so please get your tickets early.
