It you enjoy collecting plates, you may enjoy collecting porcelain signs. Here are some that I have picked up over the years.

S2		A nice Fire Chief Gasoline sign. Some chipping on the side of sign (top in picture). Other chips as noted. Good gloss.

S3		A very good Sky Chief Gasoline sign. On slight scrape at the “X” in “Petrox”. Chipping around mounting holes. Good gloss.

S4		One for your wife. A mint original Ivory soap advertising sign. (not a clone copy). Like it came out of the box.

S5		A well used railway express agency sign. (about 9” square). A pseudo fold down the middle and chips at the mounting holes. Still displays well, particularly with porcelain plates.

S6		A fair to good Western Union doubled sided flange sign. Manufactured by Ing-Rich Sign Company (Yes, the same that made the PA porcelains!). I estimate circa to be about 1910-1918. I have not cleaned up the sign. It will look much better after cleaning and polishing. A nice compliment to a porcelain display.

S7		An almost perfect DX Gas pump sign. One small chip in the center.

S8		A pretty nice Shell Oil Head Well sign. One chip on the “Two” and a folded corner. Sign is 12” x 40”

		Just when you though you saw it all, you haven’t. Two original porcelain Bell South underground cable signs. A must for any Bell collector. The light blue sign is significantly older then the dark blue variant. Actual circa is unknown.
