Fun with Hymns - A practical look into the Church's hymnology, ranging from the stalwart rhythms of the Reformation choral through the warm sentiments of Victorian favorites into the sonorous melodies of the 20th century; and with special interest in plain chant hymns and service music from the Middle Ages. 

In addition to the traditional music of the Hymnal 1940, St Luke enjoys Sung Eucharist (1st Sundays), Evensong (Fridays in Advent) and other special music throughout the year.  St Luke's organist supplies arrangements of hymns and chants tailored to St. Luke's needs-all, of course, stemming from the Anglican tradition of sacred music.
