Summer Youth Writing Program

The 2005 Summer Youth Writing Program will consist of a writing camp held the week of July 11 through July 16. The camp will run from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. and will cost $125 per writer to attend. **In order for the camp to become a reality we must have a minimum of 12 writers registered** If your child is interested in applying for the 2005 Summer Youth Writing Program ,please download the application form in pdf format and send it via mail to the address on the form. In July of 2003 AAMUWP sponsored a Youth Writing Camp. Thirteen youth, ages 10 to 14, attended the week long camp headed by Symmetris Gohanna. The week was filled with writing, art work and writing presentations given by several teacher consultants. The week ended with an informal ceremony ,which included family and friends in attendance, where the participants presented stories they had worked on for the week.
