The ultimate complement for light. The beauty of subjectivity and objectivity in perfect synchronization. And power... lots of power.

Sound is a unique entity. Looking at sound from an ameture viewpoint, it is easy to see how I got interested. Logical systems, signal flow, infinitely adjustable parameters, and lots of power. What most people don't see at first, however, is the completely irrational, subjective side of sound. It is true that I was initially interested in sound from a logical standpoint. For me, it was just another system to figure out. Digging deeper, however, and I now come to find that once a certain level of technical expertise has been achieved, the walls of clear logic begin to break down and submit to subjective human ears. This is what makes guitar feedback and distortion so awesome, what makes many still prefer a popping and clicking vinyl, and what makes The White Stripes still record to 8-track.

And yes, I love sound for the power. Few other technical fields bridge the gap between technical interest, and raw amperage.
