Connor was reprimanded by me for his role in the attempt to shield Cmdr. Cassoval Karras from arrest for murder. Though Karras was eventually cleared of the charge, Mr. Connor1s actions were inexcusable and require a formal reprimand. The resulting psych eval has declared him fit for duty. (Cmdre. W. Gordon Crowell.) Psychological Profile: Alexander Connor has demonstrated superior aptitudes in security techniques and physical discipline, but lacks an acceptable emotional response to high-stress situations. Addendum: Lt. Muelton J. Reese, Starfleet Academy Counselor. (*Most of text deleted under security precursors*) Subject has displayed considerable inability to deal with his anger, especially in crisis situations...often displayed "trigger-happy" response in training situations. Addendum: Capt. Evelyn Dalton, CO, USS QUASAR (NCC 1911-E) Subject has largely overcome the problems detailed in his Academy exit interview. On the three missions he served on the USS QUASAR, he has proven himself a resourceful, creative and competent officer. His work on the collider weapon was critical to our success at Herod II. Despite the incident on DELTA, for which he was reprimanded, I have no serious reservations about Alex Connor's stability. In fact, he seems ready for command, after a MOC Course on DELTA. I very much hate to lose this officer on the USS QUASAR, but the fleet is in need of qualified command personnel. Addendum: Capt. J. Robert Brooks, CO, USS NOVA (NCC-1776) It is never a pleasant experience to lose an experienced officer from a command position. The experience is distinctly less pleasant when it comes in circumstances like those which have recently occurred. Lieutenant Commander Alexander Connor has aquitted himself well in his time as chief operations officer on USS NOVA. He has shown initiative, drive, and courage. He is one of the finest officers with which it has been my priveledge to serve. I truly hope that he will recover from his injuries and return to service in the fleet. The loss of officers such as Mister Connor is a loss to the service as a whole.
