- Cell velocity is indicated by a white arrow w/ dots (each represents
predicted travel in 15min intervals).
- Tornado Vortex Signatures (TVS) indicate conditions exist for tornado formation.
- Rotational shear greater then 46mph is conducive to tornado formation.
- The larger the hail, the stronger the updraft, meaning conditions are more suitable for a tornado.
- Hail usually precedes a tornado, if one has formed.
- Tornado Vortex Signatures (TVS) indicate conditions exist for tornado formation.
