Rustic?  This is from a huge piece of mystery wood given to me by a fellow woodworker at work.  The bowl turned out to be about 14 inches across and 3 inches tall.  I must admit this bowl was a long time coming for Matt, but I hope the wait was worth it!  He gave me the wood sometime in 2005 before the shop got flooded with two feet of salt water that Hurricane Dennis sent our way.  After the flood I didn’t turn much for over a year…  Anyway, this is a very unique bowl with lots of character from the color to the worm holes.  By the way it “drank”  over a cup of Tung Oil!
