Sunday Adult Bible Study

takes place at 9:30 am Sundays in the Hall. Currently, we are studying “Lutheranism 101”. The study guide and book are available through the office for $19.95.

Heart Pillows

Join us on the second Saturday of every month at 9:00 a.m. in the fellowship hall. All pillows are donated to Bay Medical Center’s “Heart Institute”, where doctors perform about 6,000 heart-related operations per year. Our goal is to have enough pillows on hand, as we never know when the hospital will run short.

If you don’t sew, pillow stuffers are also needed. This activity is for men and women. With their help, the our youth earn their hours for scholarships and our Scouts earn their Community Service Hours for honor badges.

We look forward to seeing you. There are always snacks and coffee and great fellowship.

“Helping Hands” Thrift Store

The Thrift Store, open from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm on the first and third Saturday of the month, has been growing beyond our expectations. The story in the News Herald brought in many customers and donations. If you haven’t taken the time to look through the many items we have received, may I invite you to do this.

Profits will be used to augment the food pantry. In the future, we hope to help pay the church mortgage.

Thanks to the many volunteers. We always have room for more volunteers and donations. If you can contribute your time or talent, please contact the church office (233-6249) or myself (234-5571).

FOOD PANTRY

The Food Pantry will be opened on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of each month from 10am to 12pm. Boxes have been put together to give individuals and families a variety of items from food to personal items.

Donations are always needed, of non-perishables and personal items. Thanks to all who have contributed. The first Sunday of the month is especially designated “Food Pantry” donation day. Volunteers are needed, please contact the office or Doris Russell at 236-9697 or Judy Buroker at 588-7431.

SENIOR SAINTS

Please join in the fellowship. Senior Saints meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 11:30 am in a local restaurant for lunch and fellowship. Call the office for the location (233-6249).

Church Maintenance Day

Members of the church are requested to devote a few hours to church maintenance, such as lawnmowing, special cleaning, light-bulb replacement, and similar small chores. We do this on the Second Saturday of the month, beginning at 9:00 am.
