Thank you for visiting Teri Byrd's web pages. We have expanded the site to allow fans an opportunity to see more of her work and we appreciate your patience as it continues to evolve. That said, understand this site is more of a showcase of Teri's work than an up-to-date catalog of her unique works. Each figure is lovingly sculpted by hand at a pace determined by the piece itself. Considering that and the demands of her several shows, two dogs, new granddaughter and semi-trained husband; its simply not possible to maintain the web pages with daily updates. If you are unfamiliar with Teri's stuff, prepare to be amused. Very amused. In everything that comes out of the studio, you will find ample doses of at least one of the following elements: WHIMSEY ATTITUDE MOTION Whimsey that comes from an unending childhood love of fairy tales, nursery rhymes and tall tales. Attitude that can only come from being a hyper five-foot-tall firecracker in a world filled with slow, big ole six-foot fools. And Motion, captured in sculpted snapshots of dance, performance art, or even day-to-day life. So without further ado, you are invited to explore Teri's art! |
