Mary Lou Smith, left, came in second place in the ladies division in the 46th annual conch shell blowing contest at the Sunset Pier in Key West.  She, a member of the Panama City Parrothead Club, said she owes thanks to Cap'n Scuba from St. Andrews for teaching her why and how to blow the conch horn. The contest , sponsored by the Old Island Restoration Foundation in Key West, takes place every March.
