Personal / Collecting Interests
My name is Larry K. Mitchell and I'm a Scouter with BSA Troop 364, Greater Alabama
Council #001 and the Coosa Lodge #50 in Huntsville, Alabama. I serve as a Committee
Member; MB Counselor and Troop Chaplain. I'm also a Vigil Honor member of Coosa
Lodge #50, Kaskanampo Chapter. My Vigil Honor name is Topalowagan Woapalanne, which
translates to "War Eagle". I am a graduate of Auburn University (where our battle cry is
"War Eagle!!") and I did serve in the 82nd Airborne Division during my military career.
My trading/collecting interests are CSP's (NEW councils only) and OA flaps. Except
for new lodges, all of my lodge needs are from merged lodges. I generally trade on a
value-for-value basis. I invite you to visit the trading pages below. Should you find
something of interest, please e-mail me concerning your "find", along with a trade
offer if you so choose (I encourage sending your duplicates listing if you have one).
COOSA LODGE #50 information:
The Coosa Lodge #50 was chartered September 12th, 1999, merging Cherokee
Lodge #50,(Birmingham Area), Achunanchi Lodge #135(Anniston Area) and Kaskanampo
Lodge #310 (Huntsville Area). As with the Cherokee #50 and Kaskanampo #310 before,
the Coosa Lodge also restricts its flaps. The 2009 Coosa flap was made available to
members at the 2008 Fall fellowship. A limit of two per function until the 2009 Fall
Fellowship (at which time the 2010 lodge flap will be made available). Brotherhood and Vigil
Honor members may purchase one (1) 2009 Brotherhood flap per function until the 2009
Fall Fellowship (at which time the 2010 Brotherhood flap issue will be made available).
