SPECIAL BOARD OF DIRECTORS’ MEETING

Wednesday, January 25, 2012

 

I.            Call to order at 9:30 a.m.

                                                  i.      Present:  Terry Fosnaugh, Alan Moniz, Paul Nadeau, Irene Przeklasa, Pat Shahady, Babs Sharrow, Claudia Soukup

 

II.            Secretary’s Report –

a.       Pat Shahady shared emails concerning the assessment (attached to agenda).

 

III.            Clubhouse Bid Review Committee – Alan Moniz presented the committee’s report (attached to agenda).

Babs Sharrow discussed how the bidding process was handled during the last two years. 

Alan Moniz expressed the need to have firm bids before assessment is passed.

 

IV.            Approve of $500 special assessment and payment schedule.

a.                   President Przeklasa asked for a motion to approve a $500 special assessment for the repair of the clubhouse and to set a schedule for payment. Claudia Soukup moved and Paul Nadeau seconded the motion to assess shareholders $500 with the stipulation that if the bids came in less than the assessment that the excess money would be returned to the shareholders. The assessment will be due in six weeks from today. Roll call vote: Director Fosnaugh: no, Director Nadeau: yes, Director Moniz: no, Director Sharrow: yes, Secretary Shahady: no, Director Soukup: yes, President Przeklasa: yes.  The motion carried.

 

V.            Adjournment

Babs Sharrow moved and Claudia Soukup seconded the motion to adjourn the meeting at

9:45 a.m.  Motion passed.
