AWE is dedicated to encouraging people with mobility impairments to participate in recreational activities. AWE is directly involved with many activities such as Wheelchair Basketball, Tennis, Racing, Hand Cycling, Billiards, Swimming, Water Skiing, Bocia, Field Events, Air Guns, Weight Lifting, Quad Rugby, Hunting, Fishing, and more.

AWE sponsors the North Charleston Hurricanes, our local Wheelchair Basketball team. We practice at Northwoods Community Center, 8348 Greenridge Drive, on Mondays from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and Saturdays from Noon to 3:00 PM.
