Dues notices were sent out the first week in February. 
Some of the questions I have been asked are:

1. How much does the Lodge keep of the $103?

Answer: The Lodge will retain $86 

2. Grand Lodge Assessment pays for what:

Answer: Grand Lodge Expenses & Operation 7.50
Elks Magazine subscription 3.50
General Liability Insurance Assessment 3.00

State Association Dues 3.00

Total $17.00

3. I thought we voted to pay dues either Annually or Semi-Annually?

Answer: Yes, the by-laws change allows a member to pay either Annual or Semi-Annually

Annual Payment due before April 1, 2009 $103.00

Semi-Annual dues payable before April 1, 2009 60.00*
(includes Grand Lodge/State Assessment)
Second semi-annual payable before October 1, 2009 43.00

4, Spouse cards will be issued upon request of a Member in good standing ONLY to: a spouse of a member, an unmarried widow or widower of a deceased member or a child or stepchild, under the age of twenty-one (21) of a member or deceased member. The charge for this identification card is $3.

5. Can donations be made to the Lodge at time of dues payment?

Answer: Yes, please specify what the additional funds is for, (scholarship, building, bathroom, etc.) and add to the amount of dues payment.
