ED WILLIAMS has performed professionally since high school days.  He's played with rock bands, jazz bands, show bands, country bands; he's had duos, trios, quartets, and quintets, and played a single act.
He's taught music for over thirty years and believes that one can never stop learning, so he keeps on.
A great crowd pleaser, ED WILLIAMS will play what feels right for the room and the audience.  Whether it be delicate 16th century classical guitar, or modern pieces by Jobim or Thelonious Monk, James Taylor or Buffet, Gershwin or Montoya--so many styles, so many songs!!!! 

ED WILLIAMS played with many greats in his rock and roll years--JERRY LEE LEWIS (in high school), THE RIVIERAS, THE CATALINAS, MARVIN JOHNSON, CRASH CRADOCK, ATLANTIS;  he's performed in shows with JOHNNY CASH, THE DRIFTERS, THE PLATTERS, THE TAMS, THE CLOVERS, THE ZODIACS, THE GEORGIA PROPHETS, SAM COOKE and JACKIE WILSON.

ED has done studio work in North and South Carolina.  He's also   produced numerous radio jingles and  his own CDs in his  Florida studio.

ED WILLIAMS has performed with jazz greats ROY ELDRIDGE and JEREMY STAGG.
He's opened concerts for RAMSEY LEWIS, FREDDY HUBBARD, and LOONIS McGLOHON.
He's played jazz concerts in Charlotte, Charleston, Sarasota, Pensacola, Panama City, Seaside, Destin and surrounding area.  Also performed in numerous jazz clubs.

ED WILLIAMS has made over fifty television appearances in Charlotte, Florence, and Sarasota, including educational programs for Ohio State University and for the University of South Carolina.

Through the years, ED has had some exceptional teachers such as….NEIL GRIFFIN, JESUS SILVA, FRED NANCE, SOPHOCLES PAPPAS, JUAN SERRANO.

ED WILLIAMS has played his guitar in the fine dining rooms of such resorts as: PALMAS DEL MAR, Puerto Rico; SEA PINES and PALMETTO DUNES PLANTATIONS, Hilton Head Island; THE FAR HORIZON in Longboat Key, Fl; BAY POINT and EDGEWATER RESORTS in Panama City Beach; Sandestin Resorts in Destin; as well as in assorted finer restaurants such as BUD AND ALLEYS in Seaside, Café Thirty_A in Seagrove Beach and countless others.
