The National Cursillo Center provides excellent explanations for most aspects of the purpose and functions of Cursillo as well as some history. This is the BEST place to get 'official' information. Candidates and others frequently have questions about what to expect, what to bring, will I have time to ... etc. This link Cursillo Frequently Asked Questions may be able to answer most of your questions. The AlaPadre Cursillo Links provides a pretty comprehensive listing of web page information for local Cursillo Groups. There are also international sites listed as well as liinks and references for Emmaus Walk, Lutheran - Via De Cristo, Anglican Cursillo, Episcopal Cursillo, Methodist Cursillo, Presbyterian Cursillo, Chrysalis for youth,Tres Dias, Great Banquet, and other denominational forms.
There is also a prison ministry form called Kairos that evolved from Cursillo and aspires to establish strong Christian communities among the populations of correctional institutions. The objective of Kairos is to impact the correctional environment through the action of the leaders, as apostles of Jesus Christ, in all areas of human activity in the prison.
