This was our State BB Championship and the end of the silhouette season for Little River Gun Club. Weather for Saturday and Sunday was exceptionally good; however, Friday there was a misty rain all day long, but we managed not to melt.
Season Thanks to the Norman Family for allowing us to use the Little River Gun Club facilities; to my Co-Director, J. Melvin Calliham, for all his hard work; to Rick Norman our Line Caller and Target Setter, who is very instrumental in our BB matches happening and finally but not least; Thanks to each of you who made time in your schedule during the season to come out and shoot with us; we do appreciate your attendance and hope that we provided some level of shooting enjoyment for you.
We hope to see more of each of you next season; and hopefully during the off-season we will finally get around to reconfiguring the Firing Line and erecting a new cover. We'll be in touch.
Congratulations to all the winners; which was all of us who were able to attend. The Gas situation in this part of the state is 'dismal' and may have played some part in a record low attendance; maybe next year will be better; but if not, we’ll keep on until we can't any longer. We enjoyed an exceptional dinner Saturday at Ryan’s and the after dinner conversation and visitation topped off a really good meal.
Remember, there are two remaining matches at Cherokee Gun Club (Oct. and Nov.); let's try to show our support.
