You and Ben travel to Mos Eisley where you trade in your landspeeder for a skiff. The skiff allows you to cross the great desert to reach Mos Espa in much less time.

"I never entered Mos Espa," Ben confesses. I stayed in the Queen's ship on the outskirts. My master Qui-Gon entered the city and met your father, Anakin Skywalker."

When you arrive at Mos Espa, Ben tracks down a junkyard owned by a funny blue creature named Watto. "Your father was a slave," Ben explains. "Watto was his owner."

Watto greets you. "I remember your father fondly. He was a great pod racer. I wish he could have stuck around for me to bet on, but that cheat Qui-Gon took him away!"
