The Rebel Alliance is desperate for pilots. All you have to do is demonstrate your skills in a simulator to qualify for flight status. Before you know it, you're a Rebel pilot with a flight suit and you're own X-Wing!

Soon the Rebel Base is bustling with activity. A huge Imperial space fortress called the Death Star is approaching. This space station has a giant laser capable of destroying an entire planet.

Fortunately, the Artoo unit that Biggs rescued from Tatooine carried the blueprints of the Death Star. The propeller heads have analyzed them and found a weakness in the station. The X-Wings and Y-Wings will attack. They must fly down a trench and fire a torpedo into a tiny reactor exhaust vent.

It's a nearly impossible task, but you are Luke Skywalker, adventurer and hero. You'll give it a try.

As you board your X-Wing, Biggs runs up to wish you luck. "May the Force be with you," he says.

"Hmmm?" you ask as you are drawn out of your thoughts of glory. "Oh, yeah. Good luck to you too."
