Bertha Mae Justice

Bertha Mae Justice was born 14 February, 1886 in Elk Creek Logan County, West Virginia to Colbert "Cob" Cecil Justice and Mary Ann Vance. Bertha was known throughout the County for her gooseberry pies. She would climb to the top of the mountain and pick gooseberrys. She married Green Washington Tiller 28 August 1902 in Logan County, West Virginia. Bertha passed from this world on 20 August 1960 in Verner, Mingo County, West Virginia.
