All A/B rolls were edited together, closing the gaps whenever the audio tape would run out. Purple Chick has also edited out the synch beeps whenever possible leaving as much uninterrupted material as possible. This is a must have set!  MP3 on 3 dvd's.

Addendum One (In Concert)..1957-1964 (2CD) - Comment from a fan: Very handy collection containing Woolton Fete recordings. Of interest here to most collectors is the new Olympia Paris 1964 tapes which are featured in superb quality. Recorded between the 19th, 22nd January 1964. Worth the price of the disc alone.

Addendum Two (In Concert)..1965-1966 (2CD) - Comment from a fan: Another great title in the Secret Tracks 'In Concert' series. This time focusing on 1965, 1966. To my ears some sonic improvements are in evidence! Either better quality source tapes have been found or digital cleanup is in evidence. Nice.

Beatles 1965 (Live at Atlanta's Fulton County Stadium)
(Masterdisc) - A tremendous show just recently discovered and unearthed for posterity! Baseball know this stadium oh so well, Hank Aaron broke the Babe's home run record here and became the leader of the long ball. It's still the home of the Atlanta Braves but the stadium was grazed years ago and replaced with (Ted's) Turner Field. Go back in time when The Beatles rocked the world and claimed Atlanta as a prized possession!

Beatles At The Beeb (2CD) - A Two Hour Journey Through Songs and Interviews as recorded by the Fab 4 during the magical 60s.
Review:
The Beatles At The Beeb on Misterclaudel is a straight copy from the BBC Radio Beatles bonanza. Over the course of three days the station broadcast music, rare interviews and documentaries. This particular program was broadcast on August 31st at noon and was advertised by the BBC as: “Bill Kentwright presents a journey through the many Beatles songs and interviews recorded at the BBC during the 60s.

The Beatles played on 53 different radio shows between March 1962 and June 1965, giving no less than 275 performances of 88 different songs.
Remarkably, 36 of those songs were never issued on record while the group was in existence. Kevin Howlett produced his first documentary about the Beatles’ BBC recordings as a young Radio producer in 1982.

“It made headlines around the world because Kevin tracked down many BBC Beatles sessions not heard since their original broadcasts. Out of the 53 BBC programs with live Beatles music, just one was in the BBC Archive. Following further investigations, Kevin produced the award-winning The Beeb’s Lost Beatles Tapes in 1988. Discoveries are still possible: this program features an interview that has remained unheard since 1965, in
which the Beatles talk about their second movie, Help!  Don't miss out, this is a Spectacular
historical audio document.

Big Events "66" (Candlestick Park) (Masterdisc) - Original Master from the Barlow Tape!
Comment from a fan: I've listened to the old standard for years and was never thrilled by the poor quality. This release is not an audiophile but a
100% improvement.  You can actually distinguish the music from all the screams. Since this is the last concert The Beatles would ever perform - It's finally been done right.

Bravo BritzTournee (2CD) - Compilation of all known audio sources recorded during the Beatles 1966 German Britztournee.

Indiana State Fair (September 3, 1964) - A nice and enjoyable afternoon performance for both the Beatles and the audience. This has got to be one of the very few live recordings that are audible during 1964 considering the hysteria that followed the band . It's a nice period piece that showcases the excitement the Beatles still displayed on stage that would eventually disappear in later years. The sound quality is top notch. Live at Budokan 1966 - (Laserdisk Transfer) - Comment from a fan/Review: A collector in the U.S.A. made me a digital transfer of the audio portion of the Japanese laserdisc "The Beatles At Budokan". He used pro gear for recording enabling an unaltered transfer from the source. The effort sure paid off, it's the best sounding Budokan concert that currently exists. This show still has never been released anywhere except for in Japan, on laserdisc, and even that release was recalled.

Tracks: 1. Intro (in Japanese), 2. Rock And Roll Music, 3. She's A Woman, 4. If I Needed Someone, 5. Day Tripper, 6. Baby's In Black,
7. I Feel Fine, 8. Yesterday, 9. I Wanna Be Your Man, 10. Nowhere Man, 11. Paperback Writer, 12. I'm Down, 13. Bonus: Documentary on The Beatles (in Japanese)..

O.P.D. (Officially Pronounced Dead) - The (In) famous Get Back - Let it Be...Roof Top Concert material before it was officially released to the public in 1969 as Let It Be. There have been several incarnations of O.P.D.  to surface since but this title is the one that took the Beatle loving public by storm. Unheard of in 1969, many radio stations aired tapes of these tracks including WBAI in New York, and WBCN in Boston. The most famous airing of O.P.D. came from WBKW in Buffalo and WEBN in Cincinnati which broadcast an undocumented mix of GET BACK material from an obscure bootleg entitled O.P.D. Glyn Johns is credited to leaking the tapes but has denied all involvement. Come hear the raw, unedited version of a historic time in Beatledom. (All tracks from  vinyl source

Press Conferences - (1964-1966) (Uncut 10) - Review: A masterful find for Beatles and Lennon collectors worldwide. The magazine is still available if you can find it which featured 17 pages devoted to John but...the press conference disk is another matter. Sam Houston Coliseum - (Houston, Texas) (August 19, 1965) - Another prime example of how Beatle-mania helped shape Rock n Roll. This is one of the most dynamic concerts besides SHEA that the Fabs ever performed Whoa!

Sgt Peppers 40th Anniversary BBC Radio 2 (2CD) - Sgt Pepper celebrates its 40th anniversary with a little help from his 21st century Lonely Hearts Club friends. Artists scheduled to perform are: Oasis, Kaiser Chiefs, The Killers, Razorlight, James Morrison, Travis and The Fratellis are amongst the special guests helping BBC Radio 2 celebrate the iconic Beatles album, Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. Geoff Emerick, the album’s award-winning audio engineer who recorded the original version at Abbey Road, will be using his techniques to record the new interpretations on the analogue, one-inch four-track equipment used back in 1967.

Artists are going back to the studio to record tracks from the album as part of Radio 2’s Sixties Season - a series of programs to be broadcast over the summer to mark the network’s 40th birthday in September and the anniversary of the “Summer of Love”. Lesley Douglas, Controller, Radio 2, says: “This will not only be a unique radio event but a very special musical moment. “The range and quality of artists involved will be a fitting tribute to one of the great albums of all time.”

Review: Not only did the Fabs have stamina but man, they had some incredible endurance to keep up a schedule like this. I absolutely love the songs and the whole package is terrific. Thanks so much for the memories!

The 5th Beatle, George Martin Extended - Audio documentary,  Richard Allinson and Steve Levine examine his work as a producer, arranger and through his experiments with sound, technical innovator. Highlights include the first chance to hear newly restored versions of the original master tapes for Please Please Me, along with analysis of the original multi-track of Come Together. This is a prize in its own right!

This program also gives listeners the opportunity to hear some of the Beatles most famous songs in a new way. Because of the limitations of tape machines during the 60s, it was necessary to either record or mix various instruments and voices onto the same track. Once they'd been committed to tape there was no way of separating them. But now, through the use of revolutionary software, listeners can hear some of these parts in isolation for the very first time.

In his exclusive interview, Sir George talks about various aspects of the studio and recording process, the albums Sgt Pepper and Abbey Road, along with a number of songs, including Strawberry Fields Forever, Rain and many more.

(Yellow Dog) (2007) (2CD) The unedited in-line mono recording of the Beatles live from Shea Stadium on August 15, 1965, direct from the public address feed onto reel-to reel tape...(as the event unfolded) The actual complete concert. John once said "nothing is real" but not to worry, this is the real deal!

The Beatles At Shea Stadium (August 15, 1965) The ABC TV Master (Darth) - The Newest release by the masters!
Notes:
It was one of the Darth-elves’ greatest exploits: getting into the ABC TV vault, finding the 35mm film broadcast master, complete with space for commercial breaks and --not seen since the original broadcast-- Boston Pops conductor Arthur Fiedler’s introduction. Here it is, in far better quality than is typically seen. Naturally, the restored version, if Apple ever sees fit to release it, will probably blow this away. But it will also be a very different edit. Here it is, as ABC broadcast it on January 10, 1967...Fantastic!

The Day John Met Paul (BBC 2 Radio) - "The Day John Met Paul" marks the 50th anniversary of a day that was to change music for ever. Bob Harris marks the 50th anniversary of the day when 15-year-old Paul McCartney first met then 16-year-old John Lennon. The casual event took place on July 6th 1957 following an outdoor church fete gig featuring John Lennon's skiffle group The Quarrymen. Tonights nostalgia fest includes a couple of clips from a vintage Quarrymen recording and previously unaired recollections that McCartney shared with Lennon's half-sister Julia Baird. Plus interviews with Cynthia Lennon, Mike McCartney, musicologist Spencer Lee, Colin Hall - who worked as custodian of Mendips, where the young John Lennon lived with his Aunt Mimi - Quarrymen members Rod Davies, John "Duff" Lowe, Len Garry and Colin Hanton.

The Days in their Life (Volumes 1 thru 21) - The most celebrated radio show about the Fab 4 ever broadcast. Many shows have come and gone but this is the standard by which others measure up to. Hear first hand accounts from those who lived it and if you have a minute, take a stroll down memory lane if you were fortunate enough to be there.

Review: "The Beatles -
The Days In Their Life" - the re-mastered version. This twenty-one volume set contains the entire Days In Their Life program as it was originally broadcast in the early Eighties. The Days In Their Life was originally pressed onto thirty vinyl LP records. It was these vinyl LPs that radio stations used as a source for their broadcasts. The collection presented here is sourced from one of these original broadcast vinyl sets.

The LP set used for this re-mastered series is from the personal archives of Mr. Lipson, the narrator of this extensive program. This particular series is made possible through his generosity, and trust. His support is sincerely appreciated.

This re-mastered version has attempted to upgrade the listening experience by replacing almost all of the music tracks with high quality audio from sources such as MOFI, DCC, and Dr. Ebbetts.

All of this has been done while maintaining the integrity of the original broadcast. No material has been added and no part of the original program has been removed. The result is a listening experience superior to what was possible during the original broadcast. "A splendid time is guaranteed for all."

The Early Beatles (1962-1965) (Darthdisk) - On New Year's Day 1984, Granada TV broadcast a compilation of this footage in "The Early Beatles 1962-65," a program free of narrative overlay, and including not only its Cavern clip, but also a nice selection of lip-synched in studio performances. Included as well was some amusing routines with comedian Kenn Dodd. A good deal of documentary footage is also included.

The
main offering here is that program as it was broadcast. But as bonus tracks, we offer the raw music clips from the show, directly from Granada’s archives, obtained on a recent visit by a crack team of Darth babes, disguised as accountants. The song clips include timing leader and are free of some of the logo overlays or freeze frames used in the 1984 program. See More>

The newly found audio from Granada Cinema, London from 1963 presented in its correct chronological spot, between all other known early Beatles live performances in the UK from 1962 - 1964 and from TV, video, newsreel, home taping sources hits the scene.

The sound quality and discovery is in itself a miracle. 82 tracks in all!

The Twickenham Sessions (8CD) - The sessions commonly referred to as the "Get Back Sessions" took place during January 1969.
(Jan 2nd - 15th at Twickenham Studios; Jan 22nd - 31st at Apple Studios). Paul originally conceived the project back in late '68, believing that they could revitalize the band by returning to live performances. The Beatles were to be filmed writing, rehearsing, and recording, culminating with the actual live show (the logistics of which were never really settled, resulting in "the roof top" as a last ditch compromise).

Z Is For Zapple - BBC Radio 4 documentary about the rise and fall of the Beatles' experimental label "Zapple" - Narrated by Barry Miles. A very insightful look at The Beatles capitalist venture that unfortunately failed but nonetheless gave the world another side of The Fabs  we could all look at and analyze later. A 1st class job by the BBC. Historical and worth a listen.
