The Practice of Saying Yes

What we fear most,
All men on this plane,
To practice saying Yes
To lifeís ever-risky quest.
Convinced life is inane,
What we fear most
Grows larger, more a mess,
When we could halt the game
And practice saying Yes.
Too calloused to feel caressed
Our being we profane
By what we fear the most:
The knowing we are blessed --
Incidentally it is the same
As the practice of saying Yes.

Let the god-given flame
Banish all our shame
Of what we fear most:
To practice saying Yes.
