Kindred Jackson Bobo was a Sergeant in "E" Company, 1st (Turney's) Infantry in Civil War. Kindred Jackson Bobo was born on June 16, 1840 and died on May 9, 1914. Kin was the son of Samuel Bobo and Cyrenneus R. Simpson. Kin married Susan Robertson on December 13, 1869 in Lincoln County, Tennessee. This union is buried at Waggoner-Buckeye Cemetery in Moore County, Tennessee. They had nine children:  Jefferson Bobo b. January 1870; Samuel L. Bobo b. April 2, 1871 and d. April 30, 1911; Nannie Bobo b. Abt. 1873; William P. Bobo b. February 10, 1874 and d. November 4, 1903; Louis M. Bobo b. December 15, 1875 and d. October 17, 1876; Dick Bobo b. January 29, 1877 and d. January 29, 1877; Thomas Lee Bobo b. August 23, 1878 and d. October 28, 1934 married Mattie Stone on November 30, 1902; Lucy Bobo b. August 1880 and was a Music Teacher; and Laura Bobo b. June 1883.
