Michael Millsap was born on April 20, 1845 and died October 17, 1926 and was buried at Ridgeville Cemetery (at Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church) on Ridgeville Road, Moore County, Tennessee.  He was the son of Adam Millsap and Sarah M. Unknown.  Michael  married Nancy C. Ivey on October 1, 1866 in Franklin County, Tennessee.  She was the daughter of James Ivey and Mary Catherine Holt.  Nancy C. Ivey was born on March 2, 1845 and died on December 22, 1886.  Michael and Nancy had four children:  Jim Millsap b. Abt. 1868; Medie Millsap b. Abt. 1870; Ella Millsap b. Abt. 1873; Bula Millsap b. Abt. 1877.  Did not find this family after the1880 Census when they were living in Chestnut Ridge, Moore County, Tennessee. Mike Millsap was in Co. B,  3rd Calvary in the Civil War. Cemetery records show Mike Millsap, Apr 20, 1845, Oct 17, 1926, Nancy, wife of Mike Millsap, Mar 2, 1845, Dec 22, 1886. Michael Millsap was the husband of Jack Holt’s First Cousin, two times removed – Nancy C. Ivey.
