IT Manager responsible for planning, organizing, leading, and controlling
activities associated with the development, test, implementation, and sustaining
efforts of the Operations Systems used at the Huntsville site. Monitor EPACS
system and implement corrective action/risk mitigation as required. Responsible
for the administration of the Operations Systems organization and for following

E Commerce Analyst responsible for leading the successful design, construction,
delivery, and management of primarily web based applications. This position
interacted with all levels of the organization and required excellent
communication skills. This position also worked with sales and marketing teams
to provide technology leadership and solutions design and participated in
developing strategic E-Business service offerings. Lotus Notes Administrator and
network administrator backup during reductions in staff. Taught HTML classes to
4th & 5th graders for the last two years at Heritage Elementary School in
Madison, Alabama.

'00)

Information Systems Manager responsible for corporate Web Applications.
Previously managed the MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) group responsible
for collecting manufacturing data from the shop floor using ICC's SFDM (Shop
Floor Data Manager) and Genrad's TRACS III software applications. The Web group
was responsible for integrating shop floor collected data to Benchmark's TIME
(Total Interactive Manufacturing Environment) system and for creating, designing
and maintaining all company Internet, Intranet, and Extranet web pages and
applications. During the deployment of our data collection software and TIME
system, I supervised 17 employees and traveled to 4 remote facilities to
coordinate the project. Project manager for global Lotus Notes deployment, which
was migrated to Benchmark's Microsoft Exchange system. Worked two years with
marketing consultant firm to prepare for four trade shows and to present our
TIME system to attendees. Also trained over 200 internal employees on the TIME
system's usage, features and capabilities. We used Microsoft IIS, Netscape and
Apache HTTP Web servers running on Microsoft NT, SUN Solaris and Linux operating
systems. Worked with Microsoft (ASP) Active Server Pages to access Access and
Oracle databases in Intranet redesign. Experience with Allaire's HomeSite and
Microsoft's FrontPage HTML editors.
Rockwell International (July '86 - October '96)
Space Systems Division acquired by
Boeing in 1997
LAN administrator and primary interface for all data communication services.
Responsible for reviewing, centralizing, and approving all computer hardware and
software requirements before purchasing along with compiling the one-year and
five-year capital computer hardware forecast for Huntsville Operations.
Installed, configured, and supported IBM compatible and Macintosh based
computers on a LAN consisting of Novell and Windows NT servers. Postmaster of
the corporate E-mail systems (cc:Mail and Microsoft Mail) for the Huntsville
site which includes support of all SMTP links to the Internet. Supported 10BaseT
(twisted), 10Base5 (thick), and 10Base2 (thin) ethernet cabling with Fibermux
Crossbow concentrators, 3Com LANplex 2500 ethernet switch, and Cisco routers.
Involved with proposals for new business in the areas of network design and
hardware/software compatibility issues. While working at Rockwell, I consulted
part-time with Traveller Information Services (ISP - Internet Service Provider),
now LiveOnTheNet, for almost 2 years. For Traveller, I developed Internet Web
pages using HTML code and Javascript along with creating musical content using
RealAudio. During my employment at Rockwell, I attended various technical
seminars/work shops and taught many informal classes on application software. I
also completed two courses on Supervisory and Management Skills.
