Sue has lived in Charleston off and on for 46 years. She is married with 5 children. To keep her sanity, she started stitching 35 years ago.
Because of her love for the historic district and our beautiful houses, Sue has worked as a docent for The Charleston Museum at the Joseph Manigault House, for Historic Charleston Foundation during the Festival of Houses and for The Garden Club of Charleston for their Annual Walking Tour of Private Homes and Gardens.
She started designing in 1990 when she needed a hostess gift for someone and decided to stitch their house on a tea towel.
