Directions to observing teachers:

Walk around the building observing classrooms quietly. Doors should be open, unlocked, or with uncovered windows to allow you to observe the class from the doorway or through the window. Determine which of the following teaching strategies was taking place in each room that you observed. Each mark that you make on the line preceding each number will indicate which strategy was taking place in that room. Do not place your name or the name of the teachers you have observed on this form.
