SENIOR CLASS PICTURE

On Wednesday, February 28th at 8:15 a.m., a Senior Class panoramic portrait will be taken in the gym. This picture is a very large, color photograph of the entire Senior Class. The prints will be sold for $15 each. You must wear your KHS senior class t-shirt or a white shirt if you wish to be in the picture. You will be given an order envelope through your English IV or world history classes. If you do not get one, come by Ms. Owens' room (303) and pick one up before or after school. You must have $15 on February 28th.

SENIOR CALENDAR

• February 20: Progress reports for the first nine weeks of the second semester. 

• April 5: Announcements delivered during lunch. You must pay for the entire order today. 

• March 27: Report cards for the first nine weeks of the second semester were given out. 

• March 29: Cap and Gown pictures will be taken. 

• April 5: Announcements delivered. 

• April 30: Last day to pay senior dues for the $90 price. On May 1st, the dues will be $100. Pay Ms. Owens with a money order or cash before or after school. NO CHECKS! 

• May 12: Junior-Senior Class Prom is from 8:00-12:00 at the Columbus Iron Works and Trade Center. Prom dues are $45 in February and in March they will be $50. Pay Ms. Sharon Lloyd in Room 231. 

• May 17: Caps and gowns delivered during lunch. You will not receive your cap and gown if you have not paid for your announcement order in full. 

• May 30: MANDATORY GRADUATION REHEARSAL AT 8:00 A.M. AT THE CIVIC AUDITORIUM. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR GETTING THERE ON TIME. 

• June 1: 4:00 p.m. GRADUATION.

SCHOLARSHIPS

Scholarships are available through the Guidance Department. However, Ms. Banks in Room 418 has some scholarships as well. Many of these involve writing an essay on various subjects. See Ms. Banks for more information. 

LOOK FOR ANNOUNCEMENTS RELATING TO SENIORS ON THE BULLETIN BOARD OUTSIDE ROOM 303! Dates that Herff Jones representatives will be at KHS are posted on the calendar. 

Cap and Gown Orders

 If you still have not ordered your cap and gown from Herff Jones, you need to call their office. Be prepared to pay a substantial late fee because now they will have to special order your cap and gown. Phone: 563-1346.
