High School Swimming Events

High school meets consist of these events for both boys and girls.

  1. 200 yard Medley Relay - each team member swim designated event: back, breast, butterfly, or freestyle.
  2. 200 Individual Medley - This consists of four events: butterfly, back stroke, breast stroke, and freestyle.
  3. 200 Freestyle
  4. 50 Freestyle

        Diving events or 10 minutes break

  1. 100 Butterfly
  2. 100 Freestyle
  3. 500 Freestyle - 20 laps
  4. 200 Freestyle Relay - each team member swims 50 freestyle.
  5. 100 Back Stroke
  6. 100 Breast Stroke
  7. 400 Freestyle Relay - each team member swims 100 freestyle.

　

A swimmer may swim no more than two individual events in a meet, and no more than four total (2 individual, 2 relay).   All CHS meets will be timed finals except for the State meet which is prelims/finals.
