Subject: MARSH
JOHN S. MARSH and his wife SARAH HELEN SEAL MARSH lived in Independence County
in 1950-60 and perhaps from 1900. I am looking for any information on the family
including his children: ZELLA MARSH, ROSCOE E. MARSH, HELEN MARSH and GLADYS
MARSH. I suspect that the children may have married while the family lived in
Batesville and I would appreciate any marriage information on any member of this
family so that I can make a possible current connection to descendants. Thanks.

H.M. (Herbert Madison) Snapp
I would like to have a death certificate for Herbert Madison Snapp, or some type of official record. I am trying to get my information for the DAR, and this is my only empty
blank for the forms. I don't have any official death records, only what is
in the family Bible. He died March 9, 1940. The house where he died is
still there. I'm not sure what town it is considered to be in - it was in
the country at that time. It is on the left side of the road between Desha
and the top of the hill at Southside going toward Desha. There is a rock
wall in front and at the side of the house that my dad and uncle collected
the rocks for at a creek behind the house. There used to be a sawmill next
to that house.
Thanks so much for your time and effort.
