Smoked Offerings is a group of 5 fun-loving couples who enjoy Christian fellowship shared around the smoker.  A lot can happen during a 14-hour smoke!!!!  We are all members of Grace Lutheran Church.  The Smoked Offerings BBQ crew purchased their smoker in Sept. of 2001 from Southwest Smoker in North Little Rock, Arkansas.  We operate strictly as a non-profit group  and God has blessed our efforts!  In the past 4 years we have…

    Smoked over 600 Boston butts & 250 hams.  Our profits have been donated to many ministries, activities & projects.  For many of our “smokes” we have a very significant partner in Thrivent Financial For Lutherans which has contributed thousands of dollars in matching funds!  Supported activities and ministries include:  new handbells for the youth handbell choir, equipment for both the old and new kitchens, Lutheran Ministries of Alabama, Shoes That Fit, 40 Days of Purpose program, Mother’s Morning Out day care ministry, new Christmas trees for the sanctuary, Hurricane Relief Efforts,Walt Linde Scholarship fund for Grace Lutheran School and a new flagpole for the school, youth mission trips, meals for the Family Life Center groundbreaking, Stewardship luncheon and receptions after funerals.  The best reward for us is the christian fellowship and food that we have while we are smokin’.  We have people drop by from both inside and outside our church family to join in.  A homeless gentleman stopped in for a meal a while back!!!!!! 

    We thank all of those who have purchased our smoked meat in the past and are greatly appreciative for your support.
