Standard Daisenryaku: Lost Victory is a recent
Strategic WWII game from Japan, where you try to lead the Germans to victory.
The game begins in mid-1941 with the invasion of Yugoslavia, and continues through
the epic battles on the Eastern Front. The game transitions from offensive
scenarios to defensive scenarios in 1943 and can last through the fall of
Berlin in 1945.
There was an earlier game in this series called Standard Daisenryaku:
Blitzkrieg. This game halts in early 1941, so you don't get the opportunity
to utilize the late war German tanks like the Tiger and Panther,
or jets like the ME-262.
