Ovation Arts presents The Last Five Years

For Immediate Release

December 15, 2007

Jason Robert Brown has received world-wide critical and audience acclaim for his semi-autobiographical musical, The Last Five Years.  This unique two-person show examines the five years of a couple's relationship.  The woman begins at the end of the relationship and works her way back to the beginning.  The man starts at the beginning and works his way to the end. They meet in the middle, appropriately enough, at their wedding.   There is, as in any relationship, plenty of comedy and tragedy in this story. The music is piano-driven and full of energy and rhythm.
