Stumped Stamper Needs Help!

I am looking for ideas on how to rationalize my purchase of the the two-step stamps below.  I had been wanting Posh Impressions Duets, but couldn't find any locally AT ALL.  Then I found these (stamp manufacturer unknown), and just because they were two-step, I *had* to have them.  I immediately regretted the purchase.  Can you give me a reason not to?

The only thing that seems to work is stippling color on glossy card- stock, and then stamping over that in black.

This image is extremely detailed.  I don't think I want to go to the trouble of handcoloring it. My eyes couldn't stand it. When I stamp it in a single color, I'm just not thrilled with the results.  When I stamp it in a rainbow pad, I'm not impressed either.  Many people have suggested embossing it, but even with ultra detail powder, it doesn't work.  The details are so fine that many of the lines merge together.  I've tried embossing it many times, and it never works out so that suggestion is eliminated.  What would you do other than that then?  Since I originally created this page, many, many people have written me with ideas which I appreciate.  I am limited though because I don't have many of the supplies people suggest using.
