Criminal Information on Leasecomm & Microfinancial Inc.

MFI/Leasecomm has a new alias; Transaction Enabling Systems

Apparently they've finally realized that their past criminal activities have created an insurmountable amount of ill-will at Leasecomm

Check out the lies on their "resources" page. Obviously, there's no remorse in these criminals.

We are Financially Strong   Our parent company is MicroFinancial Inc. (MFI).  MFI provides lease financing for low priced commercial equipment, such as POS devices used in banking, healthcare, hospitality, and many other retail markets.  MFI has many years experience supporting large retail banking and credit card processing institutions.  MFI partners sign up hundreds of new merchants and small businesses monthly for participation in their leasing programs.They haven't had the necessary funding to sign up any new business since Sept. 2002. Read their announcement The following excerpt from their latest form 10-Q shows that they haven't secured new funding yet.
Mr. Latour concluded, "MicroFinancial continues its efforts to secure various financing, restructuring and strategic alternatives that will enable the Company to reenter the financing market."

Microfinancial has been in business for over 15 years and is publicly traded on the NYSE (symbol: MFI). It's subsidiary, Leasecomm, has processed hundreds of thousands of leases worth hundreds of millions of dollars since 1986. It has consistently paid dividends to its investors they haven't paid dividends in over a year and was recently listed in the Boston Globe's Top 100 publicly traded companies in both 2000 and 2001. They now have an "unsatisfactory" rating with the BBB

You can rest assured that when you work with TES, you're working with a long-standing credible company with a stable business history. MFI is far from stable. Wait until the multiple class action law suits hit.

UPDATE10/26/05
Transaction Enabling Systems has reportedly been sold back to the founders. The original owners seem to be sincere in restoring the company's reputation. A copy of TES vp's statement is here.CAUTION THIS HAS NOT BEEN CONFIRMED

Strong Financial Backing Reduces Risk
If they ever find anyone foolish enough to back them!

We Want Your Business and access to your bank account As a finance company, our parent company, MFI, has predominantly focused on the banking industry.  However, with the success and popularity of  POS systems, especially the "virtual" terminals. Now you see them, now you don't!  MFI is branching out into new business relationships outside traditional markets to include the medical industry and more. Hang on to your wallets and keep a close watch on your bank statements folks!

Why were the following lies removed from the "resources" page of the Transaction Enabling Systems website.

"It's subsidiary, Leasecomm, has processed hundreds of thousands of leases worth hundreds of millions of dollars since 1986. It has consistently paid dividends to its investors and was recently listed in the Boston Globe's Top 100 publicly traded companies in both 2000 and 2001."

Is someone at Microfinancial Inc. "getting an education" on the differences and consequences of lies and the truth.

Maybe they've been reading my website?

Other changes;

We are Financially Strong” was removed and

“MFI partners sign up hundreds of new merchants and small businesses monthly for participation in their leasing programs.”

Was changed to read;

“MFI through its vendors have signed up hundreds of new merchants and small businesses for participation in their leasing programs.”

Notice that the word “monthly” was deleted. Wow, what a difference a word makes!

Notice also that “partners” was replaced with “thru its vendors”. Whoops, were they accepting responsibility?

Naaa! They would never knowingly accept responsibility for any of their criminal activities.
