Info
Site A lot of good info here.
I'm
sorry to have to remove this link. The webmaster of the link that occupied this
spot seemed to be fearful of associating herself with my effort.
Sometimes
the truth can be painful, but it's been my experience that the pain is usually
in all the right places!
Scam
Reports This site charges for reports on scam
companies. Leasecomm is at the top of their TOP TEN List.
Official Complaint Site
Financial Info;
Better Business Bureau lists Leasecomm in
the top 10 Most Complained About Business
in the Past 12 months #2 behind
Worldcom Wireless;
BetterBusinessBureau
Leasecomm
openly discloses in their SEC
Filing (form 8-k) a
$44.67 Million “provision
for
credit
losses”. This should be fair
warning to potential investors, banks etc.
but
who reads all of the “dry” info in these lengthy documents?
SEC
filings (Form 10-Q) for MFI/Leasecomm (scroll
down to page 18 for the legal proceedings.
As of August there were suits against them
approaching $2
billion. This section
also
shows that a number of States Attorneys General are
cooperating
in their respective investigations into Leasecomms
illegal
activities.
More Financial reports;
YahooFinancialNews
The
Yahoo Finance message board for stock symbol MFI is a gathering place for
potential
investors and others with interest in MFI including the scammed victims.
This
message board has been my source for a large part of the information that
I’ve
been able to obtain about Leasecomm/MFI. I have posted a number of
messages
here
myself (username glenn36108). My first post, #1005
explains my experience with
Leasecomm.
Message # 1775
is a copy of my letter to the new CEO of Leasecomm
on
10/28/2002;
This
is a post by one of the "Leasecomm
Defenders" who was infuriated by my acquisition of
the domain name leasecomm.org. In my view, this showcases
the depravity of this entire CRIMINAL organization.
As
a result of my participation in the Yahoo message board, I received a number
of
“threatening”
emails sent by way of “rerouting software” in order to conceal the
source.
If
authorities are interested, they probably CAN be traced.
Stories of
Scammed Victims
Any of the major search engines, Yahoo,
Lycos, Altavista, etc. will turn up a large
number of websites dedicated to exposing
Leasecomm/MFI for the crooks that they are.
Here
are a few of the sites that have some very poignant stories of how they
have
suffered
at the hands of Leasecomm. Please note that Leasecomm is also aware of
these
sites and regularly posts messages attempting to defend Leasecomm with the
usual
lies claiming that they only finance and they blame the victims for not
reading
the
leases.
