Dave (left)
and Harold talk to the children about the U.S. Marine Corps
during the Civil War in Florida.
Both Harold and his wife (who also dresses in period

Carlos
is back!
Carlos (right) with our Chief Boatswain's Mate on the field just before the Brooksville Raid (January 2008) battle. Carlos has returned after an extended medical leave and wore a spare marine uniform.
While on leave, he researched Henry Crane, who was a
Unionist in the Tampa Bay area. (Crane was also a pilot
and guide for the U.S.S. Tahoma, held the rating of
acting master's mate, and eventually became an officer with the
local U.S. Army Calvary.) Carlos is planning on a first
person impression of Crane.
New Marine Sergeant
Corporal Dave is now brevetted to the rank of
Sergeant. A request has been made through formal channels
to officially raise have to Sergeant has been made and is under
consideration by the Marine Commandant.
