"Wonder Water" awarded first place!
Sam
Tumminello's short movie "Wonder Water" was awarded
first place in the senior division by Videomaker magazine (May 2008). Tumminello
a member of the Alabama Filmmakers Co-op produced and directed the movie.
The movie,
told in a minimalist style, depicts a classic Alabama story of youthful
events leading to the character’s eventual memorialization. It was first
shown at the Film Co-op’s Rocket City Short Film Festival
in October 2007. Filmed
and produced in Huntsville, September 2007, it features two local
actors Kristen Tumminello and Lizzy Bodkin. The running time is
five minutes.
Quoting
''Videomaker'' Magazine: "A wonderfully executed video with a
surprise climax. The colors and textures Sam uses are beautiful and tie in
with the theme of the overall video".
