Diamond in the Rough

Arriving home after an uneventful 70 mile drive, I snapped these pictures before it go too dark to do anything else. While I vividly remember what it looked like, these are the only pictures I have to share because the cleanup started at first light the next morning.

Wondering why all that stuff remained on the roof after a 1-1/2 hour drive? If you look closely, you can see little saplings in it which actually took root on the awning rail!
